Bucky Magmakammer are drinking from the Norsk fountain on their latest 3-song opus. The Uncle Acid comparisons are obvious, yet these lads bring their own flavor to the doom pot. It's certainly fuzzy in all the right places, and the rhythm and tone are upbeat and rooted in hard rock n roll.

Colin M. Magmakammer blew me away with their fever-dream-madness-in-space brand of doomy psychedelia, and this EP keeps that momentum rolling along. Love the downtempo acoustic reworking of "Acid Times" as well. Favorite track: Acid Delusions.

DayMan0War These guys are quickly becoming one of my favorites. Good melodies and awesome tone. They are similar to uncle acid but still bring something different to the table. They are more “cosmic” sounding and if this ep is any indication of the new album, we all will be seeing and hearing more about magmakammer. They simply kick ass! Favorite track: Bloody Diamond.

DoomStonePsyCult Magmakammer has almost instantly earned its place among the greats and the Mind-tripper album is a solid 10!!!

Crypt Guard Three atmospheric tracks that possess a vintage vibe and the seductive lo-fi grit of Uncle Acid. "With Devilish Lust" and "Bloody Diamond" shine with memorable guitar riffs and a grooving rhythm section. "Acid Delusions" is a beautiful low-key track featuring acoustic guitars, shakers and hypnotic bass lines. Ulrik Jacobsens vocals are as captivating as on "Mindtripper" and seem to lull one into a weary daze for the killing blow.

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
